Celebrate the end of summer at Meridian Waste's Splash Bash, August 19

RALEIGH, N.C. - July 26, 2023 - PRLog -- WHO:  Meridian Waste North Carolina LLC, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, celebrates the end of summer and the start of the new school year with family-friendly activities for all ages on Saturday, August 19.

WHAT/WHY:  Meridian Waste North Carolina is observing the end of summer at Shotwell Environmental Park by inviting neighbors, local schools, non-profits, and civic organizations to the company's environmental facility while sharing the company's appreciation with the surrounding community.

"For more than two years, Meridian Waste's Summer Splash Bash is a fun way to cool down in the heat," said Area President Patrick Messinger. "Shotwell Environmental Park is pleased to continue the tradition with activities for the entire family in celebration of the summer, and starting the new school year."

Activities will include Meridian Waste's signature Touch-A-Truck display, where attendees can touch the trucks and heavy machinery used in the environmental services industry. Other activities will include:

●          Free hot dogs, hamburgers, and frozen treats for all attendees

●          Inflatable water slide and obstacle course

●          Balloon twister

●          Landfill tours

●          Corn hole
