Chamber Music Society of St. Louis Celebrates 15th Anniversary

ST. LOUIS - July 27, 2023 - PRLog -- The Chamber Music Society of St. Louis (CMSSL) has announced its concert schedule for the 2023-24 season, with several entertaining twists to the coming year's Michael F. Neidorff Chamber Concert Series. The organization's 15^th Anniversary season will include 12 concerts and creative partnerships with Saint Louis Ballet, Cinema St. Louis, and St. Louis Classical Guitar.

The Neidorff concert series, honoring the late Centene executive and avid CMSSL supporter, again will return to the popular cabaret-style seating at the 560 Music Center's Pillsbury Theatre; the first and last concerts of the season will be held in the E. Desmond Lee Concert Hall.

"We are proud of our upcoming 15^th anniversary and unique programs for the season," said Marc Gordon, Executive and Artistic director. "This year's celebratory season lineup includes collaborations with Saint Louis Ballet at the Touhill Performing Arts Center and with Cinema St. Louis at the Hi-Pointe Theatre. Chamber Music fans also can look forward to popular conductor Nicholas McGegan kicking off the season with "Romancing the Baroque" and to "A Very Special Blend," the final concert, with the St. Louis Classical Guitar.

"Continuing enthusiasm for imaginative programming, world-class musicians and informal cabaret-style format has drawn outstanding support from our donors, subscribers, and community partners, enabling us to reach this significant anniversary," Gordon added.

This season will feature students from CMSSL education programs, the Pillsbury Cookie Concert series at the 560 Music Center, education outreach concerts, and Master Class Series – eight sessions serving more than 30 St. Louis area schools offered free to students as well as the public to observe.
