Lowcountry-Themed Poem Selected for South Carolina Bards Poetry Anthology 2023

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Aug. 3, 2023 - PRLog -- Melissa Whiteford St. Clair is proud to announce the South Carolina Bards Review Team has selected her poem "Evening Squall," for inclusion in the South Carolina Bards Poetry Anthology 2023. St. Clair will read the poem, "Evening Squall" at the South Carolina Bards Poetry Anthology Book Launch event scheduled for Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 7:30pm (doors open at 7:00pm), at the Cambria Hotel Mount Pleasant – Charleston, 1472 N Hwy 17, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464. There is a $5.00 per person cover charge for the event.

The poem was originally written at the prompting of Luxe Lowcountry Literary and Leisure Getaway host Susie McMahon to featured writers for an inspirational piece to include in a keepsake memento book for guests featured Getaway poet St. Clair found inspiration in the Port Royal Cypress Wetlands and Rookery, Port Royal, SC.
