By: St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce "I am thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Bernardino in her new role. She is bringing with her valuable diverse experiences, perspectives, and skills which she is already using to advance the Chamber. Elizabeth jumped right in assessing all opportunities for improvement to enrich our members' experience. I am thankful that the Chamber is the path she is choosing to serve our community," said Isabelle Renault, president and CEO of the Chamber Bernardino brings a wealth of non-profit and for-profit, marketing, membership, and programming experience to the chamber. As Head of Marketing at Weaver Fundraising (Trail's End Popcorn for Boy Scouts), Bernardino's primary focus was to reach, serve, and retain every Council, Scout, and volunteer by providing awareness, resources, and support for their fundraising experience. Prior to that, Bernardino was the Senior Vice President at Girl Scouts of Gateway Council and implemented strategy for many departments including data analytics, membership sales, and programs including the well-known cookie sale. "The St. Johns Chamber serves a critical role in strengthening our community," Bernardino said. "Its influence and footprint impact community change and growth for the better, through public policy, economic development, to small business programming. I am eager to help develop strategic programming and marketing solutions that directly impact the needs of our businesses and community leaders." The Chamber began the search for a new Vice President when the announcement was made that current Vice President of Operations & Membership Aimee Stafford would be moving back to Kentucky to be with her family. Bernardino received her Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications from San Diego State University where she also was a member of the university volleyball team, the Alpha Phi Sorority and Board, and the American Marketing Association. Bernardino also enjoys spending time with family and friends, while staying active by recently picking up a new Pickleball hobby. Bernardino will be responsible for recruitment and retention management, strategic marketing, brand management, member benefit management, and Council and Division governance and programming. This will assist the Chamber in furthering its goal of being the premier business organization in St. Johns County by continuing to deliver value-added services to not only our members and the community but also new businesses that are just starting out.
