NEW YORK - Aug. 9, 2023 - PRLog -- In a shocking  development, Tawanda Jennings, a 46-year-old Californian known and cherished as Dr. Tonee by her family, friends, and community, is currently under unjust and unlawful detention at the West Valley Detention Facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Her plight demands immediate attention and collective action.

Dr. Tonee's nightmare began on June 2nd, 2023, when she was arrested on alleged criminal charges in New York. However, a series of alarming events have revealed a disturbing absence of due process and a blatant disregard for justice. With the assistance of Shawna Vaughn from Silent Cry Inc., it has been  established that Tawanda Jennings carries no criminal charges in the New York criminal system. This revelation shakes the very foundation of her detainment and calls into question the legitimacy of her ordeal.

The timeline of her experience is as follows:

June 2nd- Arrested and detained at West Valley Detention Facility.

June 6th- Court appearance where Dr. Tonee, refused extradition

June 8th- Arraignment - the start of a nightmarish legal journey.

June 13th-Extradition hearing, marred by New York's failure to appear.

June 20th- Another extradition hearing, New York admits her as a person of interest but lacks a governor's warrant.

July 21st-Court date, New York fails again to produce a governor's warrant, Dr. Tonee's plea ignored.

July 21st- Bail hearing - a flicker of hope dimmed by the looming threat of re-arrest if released.

July 25th-Bail denied, a 30-day extension granted for New York to provide the necessary governor's warrant.

August 24th- Upcoming court date, as Dr. Tonee's unjust detention continues.
