Families that Play Together Stay Together

CINCINNATI - Aug. 29, 2023 - PRLog -- As part of an ongoing effort to encourage Anderson Township area families to engage in physical exercise together, D1 Training - Anderson Township is hosting a Free Family Field Day on Saturday September 2 from 9:30am - 11:00am at Nagel Middle School (1500 Nagel Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45255).

Research shows that families that play together, stay together. Benefits of playing together are numerous. It strengthens family bonds, improves mental health, helps child development, improves heart health, and fosters a sense of belonging. "Anderson is a great place for families," says D1 Training General Manager, Alice Trickey. "Hosting a field day is a great way for us to give back to the community."

The event is free for the whole family, and all ages are welcome. "We want families to enjoy a morning of games they grew up playing at field day...think three legged races, tug-of-war, water balloon toss and more..." says Trickey.
