The local Humane Society is selected as a recipient of the restaurant's Community Harvest program.
By: St. Augustine Humane Society According to Carolyn Smith, St. Augustine Humane Society's Executive Director, the gift certificate program continues to help the non-profit recognize a variety of supporters including the top fundraisers who participated in this year's Pin Up Paws Calendar Photo Contest fundraiser and who will be in attendance at the 13th annual Pin Up Paws party and calendar reveal event on Friday, November 3 to be held at Embassy Suites by Hilton St Augustine Beach Oceanfront Resort, 300 A1A Beach Boulevard in St Augustine. Tickets are available for purchase at www.PUPparty.org. About St. Augustine Humane Society: The Humane Society's spay neuter and surgery clinic is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 4 pm. The wellness clinic is open every Wednesday , Thursday, and Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Pet owners must pre-register for spay and neuter surgery. The Humane Society's resource center includes a wellness and preventative care clinic, low-cost spay and neuter clinic, grooming facility, dog training, and a pet food pantry. These and other services enable local pets to live as healthy companions in their homes for life. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am until 4 pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday. The Humane Society is located at 1665 Old Moultrie Road in St. Augustine. St. Augustine Humane Society promotes healthy responsible lifelong pet ownership by serving the medical and rehabilitative needs of companion animals in St. Johns County. The programs are designed to strengthen human-pet relationships and reduce the need for pets to enter shelters with a goal is to ensure all pets have access to quality veterinary care, prevent overpopulation, and prevent animal suffering.
