Follow on Google News | NCHEC Achieves Dual Re-Accreditation from IAS and NCCABy: NCHEC International accreditation by IAS provides a global benchmark for personnel certification programs to ensure consistent, comparable and reliable operations worldwide. The IAS accreditation program for Personnel Certification Bodies is founded on the ISO/IEC Standard 17024:2012 Conformity Assessment –– which provides general requirements for bodies operating certification of persons. The NCCA national standards require demonstration of a valid and reliable process for development, implementation, maintenance and governance of certification programs. NCCA has accredited the CHES® certification program since 2008 and the MCHES® certification program since 2013. "Reaccreditation by the IAS and the NCCA underscores our unwavering dedication to the principles of ongoing continuous improvement within the certification field," said Kathy Janes Jinkins, BSN, M.Ed, MCHES®, Chair of the NCHEC Board of Commissioners. "This endorsement serves as a powerful affirmation of the quality and significance of both CHES® and MCHES® certifications. It truly affirms our position as the benchmark for excellence in health education credentialing." Established in 1988, NCHEC is the only accredited U.S. certifying agency for the health education and promotion industry.
