The Scott Group Adds Cody Horvat to its Roster

CHICAGO - Oct. 12, 2023 - PRLog -- The award-winning Scott Group is excited to announce Cody Horvat has returned to his Compass roots and joined the team as a real estate broker. Horvat brings over seven years of real estate industry experience to the Scott Group, including time at realtor.com where he worked closely with the economic research team to develop data-based market insights, and most recently at Compass Inc., where he was the head of Communications and PR for Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Delaware, and Wisconsin.

Horvat started his real estate career at realtor.com where he worked alongside a team of economists and data analysts to distill complex housing and economic data into easily digestible insights for homebuyers and sellers. He also helped develop housing market forecasts to predict housing market activity based on several key economic indicators and proprietary housing data.

During his time as a Compass employee, Horvat oversaw all PR and communication efforts for 10 midwestern states. He helped the Compass brand establish and expand its footprint across several states while also working alongside its top agents to promote and increase the visibility of their listings. In the glitzy realm of celebrity real estate, Cody has left an indelible mark. He's been the creative force behind the promotion of properties belonging to NASCAR sensation Tony Stewart, esteemed celebrity chef Stephanie Izard of The Girl and the Goat and Duck Duck Goat, and Milwaukee Brewers' Christian Yellich.
