Moss Foundation Establishes Moss & Associates Aggie Scholarship with $15,000 donation to Texas A&M U

MCKINNEY, Texas - Oct. 13, 2023 - PRLog -- The Moss Foundation donated $15,000 to Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, this week to establish the Moss & Associates Aggie Scholarship in Construction Science.

The awarded funds will be used to provide scholarships to full-time students pursuing graduate and undergraduate degrees from the Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M University. The Construction Industry Advisory Council will donate $10,000 in matching funds, for an original scholarship amount of $25,000.

"We are proud and honored to be able to provide deserving students in the Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M with scholarships to pursue their education," said Chad Moss, president of the Moss Foundation. "We believe that this partnership with Texas A&M furthers our mission to foster the growth of individuals through education."

The Moss Foundation presented TAMU with the check at Moss Construction's office in McKinney, Texas. 26 Texas A&M alumni are employed at Moss.

Scholarship recipients will be selected by a committee of staff and faculty of the Department of Construction Science in accordance with the university's policies for academic achievement and extra-curricular activities.
