This award is intended to acknowledge those individuals who have shaped the culinary world. On Friday, September 29, 2023, the International Association of Culinary Professionals announced the winners of the 45th annual IACP awards from The New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn, NY. The list of winners were published on the IACP website and announced on Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Twitter. This year's award ceremony was held in conjunction with the IACP Summit at City Tech in Brooklyn, New York. The Executive Awards Committee and Subcommittees led by IACP's Awards Director, Paola Briseño-Gonzá Tucci exclaimed about winning the 2023 Trailblazer Award, "I am overwhelmed with gratitude to IACP for recognizing me as a Trailblazer. I am honoring my ancestors, my grandfather Oscar Tucci, my grandmother Sesta, my father Mario, and my aunt Mary, continuing thier legacy is an honor. They have paved a wonderful yellow brick road for me with Delmonico's, so I must continue to do their work.
