Harold's Place 41st Annual Thomas McMurray Golf Invitational to benefit NAMI Collier County

NAPLES, Fla. - Oct. 25, 2023 - PRLog -- The Harold's Place 41st Annual Thomas McMurray Golf Invitational to benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Collier County is planned Dec. 10 at the recently renovated Naples Hibiscus Golf Club.

Registration for the four-person scramble tournament that begins with an 8 a.m. shotgun start includes a box lunch, water and beer on the golf course, followed by a T-bone steak dinner at Harold's Place. Bloody Mary cocktails will be available for sale from the beverage cart. The registration deadline is Nov. 17. Cost is $600 per foursome.

"Through the many years of sponsoring this tournament, the Harold's team, along with long-time supporters and executives in our community, recognize the importance of meeting the mental health needs in our community," said NAMI Collier CEO Beth Hatch. "We are grateful for this ongoing support, as it is critical for us to be able to serve the community daily with free programs."

Event proceeds will support NAMI's Health Under Guided Systems (HUGS) program, which screens, assesses and/or educates children ages 2 months to 18 years old experiencing developmental, social, emotional or behavioral difficulties. The event also will help support the Sarah Ann Life Skills & Support Center, which includes structured activities and occupational training, Supportive Housing and Supported Employment, the Warm Line and other mental wellness programs offered free to the community.
