SWENSON receives entitlements for much anticipated senior housing project in Los Gatos

LOS GATOS, Calif. - Oct. 30, 2023 - PRLog -- SWENSON, a prominent real estate development and construction company in Northern California, is thrilled to announce its senior housing project in Los Gatos has received entitlement approval from the Los Gatos Planning Commission which acknowledged SWENSON's ability to provide housing without a significant impact to traffic or schools. This eagerly anticipated project, located at 15860 Winchester Blvd, encompasses an exceptional assisted living community comprised of 18 memory care units and 107 assisted living units, totaling 125 units. This remarkable achievement marks the fourth senior community established by SWENSON in the past three years, demonstrating their commitment to addressing the growing demand for senior housing.

The Los Gatos senior housing project will offer two separate dining rooms, a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, a theater, a library, a spacious great room, and various common-use areas throughout the community. The property will feature three beautifully landscaped courtyards at the first-floor level for communal use, as well as private patios for ground-floor garden units on the south and east sides. The exterior design highlights elements such as a tiled roof with ornate eaves, picture-framed windows, symmetrical facades, columns, and balustrades. Emphasizing the streetscape and enhancing the pedestrian experience were integral aspects of the project's design, ensuring that it seamlessly blends with the existing neighborhood fabric.
