Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz hires Kara Rogers

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Nov. 6, 2023 - PRLog -- Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz has hired Kara Rogers as an associate attorney focusing on personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases.

Most recently, Rogers worked in civil practice and served as a law clerk to a Federal Magistrate Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Rogers graduated summa cum laude in the top 1% of her class in law school from Stetson University, where she was a senior associate on the Stetson Law Review and in the honors program. On Stetson's Dispute Resolution Board, she competed both nationally and internationally in negotiation, mediation and arbitration competitions, and was the first student recipient of the Kelly Feeley Dispute Resolution Board Founder's Award. She also was named to the distinguished Order of Scribes and Order of Barristers for her accomplishments in legal writing and advocacy and was awarded the William F. Blews Award for her commitment to pro bono service.

She is involved with child advocacy by volunteering for the Guardian ad Litem program and fosters animals for Lee County Domestic Animal Services and Gulf Coast Humane Society. She is a member of the Calusa Inn of Court, where she participates in regular continuing legal education.
