However, this is no ordinary visit, it is very special because this day, they would celebrate and prepare to receive the Three Wise Men. Osuba explains: "In the United States we celebrate Christmas on December 25th, but in Europe, Spain and Latin America it is all about celebrating El Día de los Reyes!. Three Kings' Day is very important to Latinos." Although this bilingual children's story is fictional, like any good story it is based on some real events as Osuba shares a few of his own experiences growing up in both the United States and Puerto Rico.
