Throughout the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and share their personal experiences with LCSO. "We're very grateful to the Lee County Sheriff's Office for taking the time to speak to our residents about the people who protect them," said Ryan Keller, executive director at The Preserve. "Our residents loved learning more about the Sheriff's Office, especially when it came to the K-9s!" Through video and verbal presentation, Staryk educated the residents on all aspects of LCSO's operations, including Sheriff Marceno's initiatives, the 911 Call Center, the Community Response Unit, the newly launched Road Rage and Street Racing Task Forces and more. Staryk also shared traffic stories and heroic LCSO rescue stories. "I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to bring LCSO to The Preserve," said Victoria Staryk, a crime prevention practitioner at Lee County Sheriff's Office. "I'm happy that my first presentation was with such an engaged and pleasant audience." As a follow-up to the first presentation, Staryk returned to The Preserve to educate the community's staff members on workplace safety, emotional intelligence and the importance of confiding in coworkers.
