In September 2022 Hurricane Ian swept through the coast of Florida leaving death and devastation in its wake. Like many other families, Rustie and her daughter lost their homes. Though they were grateful to have survived they still sorely needed assistance. Over the next year, Rustie experienced firsthand the ineffective bureaucratic system and dereliction of politicians which continue to leave thousands homeless and suffering after the increasingly frequent natural disasters in our country.

Meet Rustie MacDonald, a renowned Author, Speaker, Empowerment Coach, and Radio Talk Show Host. A single mom with a deep love for dogs, Rustie is known for her determination, compassion, and sense of humor. Despite facing challenges such as a messy divorce, abuse, and severe poverty, she has successfully rebuilt her life and is dedicated to inspiring others to live and thrive.
