Ribbon Cutting - Inaugural Pooler Farmers Market

POOLER, Ga. - Jan. 9, 2024 - PRLog -- Chatham County Parks and Recreation and Live Like Locals Savannah have partnered to bring healthy living resources and family-friendly activities to West Chatham County.

Pooler Mayor, Karen Williams, has confirmed attendance to recognize the significance of bringing healthy options to residents and support to local small businesses.

FREE Healthy Activities:

10:00 a.m. - Market Fresh Baby - by Forsyth Farmer's Market
1:00 p.m - Wellness Redefined - by Blend Press
2:00 p.m. - Herbal Medicine for Women's Cycles - by Rosalinda Patino
3:00 p.m. - Parents of Picky Eaters... Here's Help!! - by Yolanda Caudill

- four (4) fitness classes
10AM Yoga - by The Hub
11AM Breathwork class - by Josh Carter
1PM WorQ dance fitness - by The Hub
2PM Total Body Bootcamp - by Cameron Scott

Family-friendly activities:

Games - dedicated kid zone.

Author Alley - live book readings and signing from local authors including Keisha Lapsley, Askia Johnson, Lidea Clever and Jessica Leibos.
Live Music - local musicians.
Art - local artists.
Cultural Components - Latin Corner and a celebration of Martin Luther King, JR.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
