Farmer's Market Coming to Pooler

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Oct. 17, 2023 - PRLog -- Chatham County Parks & Recreation and Live Like Locals Savannah have partnered to bring Pooler its ONLY Farmer's Market. The Mega Market will be held at Tom Triplett Park.

The inaugural event will be held on Sunday, December 10th from 10:00AM - 4:00PM.

The park will be divided into two parts. The back of the park will be a full farmer's market bringing locally sourced produce and goodies like fresh baked bread, sweets, jams and spices. Shopping locally sourced decreases our collective carbon footprint and brings the food to the people.

The Farmer's Market will also host a free seminar series where locals can learn how to live a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle. We're starting the day with a free workout at the farmer's market.

The front part of the park will feature 100+ local vendors, food trucks, a kid zone with free games and craft activities, LIVE entertainment, a dedicated space for local authors to host readings and book signings and cultural learning opportunities.

Imagine Epcot meets Rock 'n Roll marathon. There will be activities to delight and engage the whole family as they walk around the lake and explore new areas of the park.

2024 SCHEDULE: The Mega Market is slated to be a staple for Chatham County residents and will be hosted nine (9) times in the new year. Dates are every second Sunday of the month except January, July and August.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
