Villages of Hope Announces New Website & Online Store in Support of Human Trafficking Awareness Week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jan. 9, 2024 - PRLog -- In a week dedicated to raising awareness of human trafficking, Villages of Hope, a Jacksonville-based nonprofit announces the launch of its brand-new website and online store. This exciting development coincides with National Human Trafficking Awareness Week and "Wear Blue Day" on Thursday, January 11th, a symbol of solidarity with survivors.

"We're thrilled to unveil our new digital tools during such a crucial week," says Donna Fenchel, Executive Director of Villages of Hope. "Our website will now be a dynamic hub for sharing statistics, survivor stories, raising awareness, and connecting with supporters. Our online store offers unique, handcrafted items made by the women of the Villages of Hope and our strategic partners."

The redesigned website boasts a user-friendly interface, comprehensive information about their programs and services, and construction updates. Visitors can shop from the new store, engage through interactive features, learn about volunteer opportunities, and donate directly to support the organization's mission.

"It was an honor to work on this project for Villages of Hope," said Dara Welk, Chief Executive Officer, Media Made Fresh. "We built a site that is user friendly and engaging. Most importantly, we made it easy for their team to manage and update, and it will scale with them as they grow."

The online store features a curated selection of handmade art, jewelry, accessories, and home goods. Every purchase directly benefits the women of Villages of Hope.

"This week, we urge everyone to join us in saying YES to housing and caring for survivors of human trafficking," said Carla Sweeney, Co-Founder and Director of Operations & Staff. "Share our website and store on social media. Donate, shop, explore our new resources, and join us as we celebrate Wear Blue Day."

Together, we can lift the voices of human trafficking survivors, and shine a light on hope. Join Villages of Hope this week and beyond as they build a sanctuary, a place of refuge for women seeking a life free from human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and addiction.
