DonnaInk Publications signed Amoney's new book release

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Jan. 28, 2024 - PRLog -- DonnaInk Publications latest author, Amoney – Laurice Caren April Adams, represents her life story in the guise of storytelling as a survivor of child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Ms. Quesinberry, Founder and President of DonnaInk supports causes that thwart abuse, neglect, violence, and assault and agreed Amoney's life story deserves representation and publication. The DonnaInk team welcomes Ms. Adams and her impending book, "You Took My Everything: The Foster Girl," looking forward to new successes in her publishing journey.

About the Author: Laurice Caren-April Adams being from Cleveland Ohio, met Dave Tolliver (Men at Large) and his partner with Full Belly Media Group (F.B.M.G.). She then quickly caught the entertainment bug when she began working closely with the F.B.M.G. Team - eventually developing her own company Thick'emz Ent. She also formed a non-profit, Ladiez of Essence that specializes in uplifting battered, homeless, and less fortunate women. As a media team member with Dave and F.B.M.G., Laurice created her Amoney Show on Blockz Talk Network (airs Wednesday through Saturday). Her guests include folks such as multi-platinum producer Keith Clizark, Rodney Perry, Eric Nolan Grant (O'Jays), and more . . . Laurice has also become a member of Blockz Magazine staff.

About the Book: "You Took My Everything" shares the personal story of Laurice Caren April Adams and sheds light on the extreme pain and suffering she sustained as a child after being placed in the foster care system alongside two siblings. Living a Cinderella life before the magic slippers, Laurice's story quickly moves to time she spent caring for the foster family's animals having to wade through manure and cooking, cleaning, and performing household maintenance in servitude as a foster inmate. The naturally resultant turmoil, pain, and suffering was exacerbated by continued beatings with raw-hide straps while left naked in a cold damp basement adding agony to her wounds. Barely a teen, beaten, and then molested by her foster father, Laurice developed fears of closets and the dark. Her title educates readers regarding the dark side of the foster system and explains why foster children often run away and hit the streets to fend for themselves.
