Aston Villa agree £15m deal to sign Morgan Rogers from Middlesbrough

Rogers' arrival places doubt on the future of Jhon Durán, who is seeking more regular game time. Chelsea is among the clubs to have registered an interest in the Colombia striker. The Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey has been linked with a move but Emery said the 22-year-old was "a very important player".

Villa have been keen on bringing the 21-year-old to the Premier League throughout the winter transfer window and now appear to have won the race for his signature. Rogers has featured 26 times for Middlesbrough in the Championship this season, scoring two goals and registering six assists.
