Tony Foundation's Annual DFW Golf Fundraiser Tees Off to Support Families Battling Cancer

DALLAS - Feb. 21, 2024 - PRLog -- A cancer diagnosis can shatter the foundations of a family, leaving them grappling with the emotional and financial fallout. When the diagnosed individual is also the family's financial provider, the weight of medical bills and financial stress becomes overwhelming.

Tony Laudadio, a two-time cancer survivor, understands this struggle firsthand.  Diagnosed first with renal cell carcinoma in 2013 at the age of 29, and later with unrelated brain cancer two years later, Tony faced not only the physical challenges of cancer but also the financial burden that accompanied it. Following a successful yet rare awake craniotomy, Tony's diagnosis stabilized, inspiring him to join forces with his friend Scott Patterson to establish the Tony Foundation.

The Tony Foundation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing compassionate support to families affected by all types of cancers through crucial financial aid. In their ongoing philanthropic efforts, the foundation is excited to announce the Annual DFW Golf Fundraiser, scheduled for Friday, March 22nd, at the Texas Rangers Golf Club, the prestigious home course of the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers located at  701 Brown Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011.

Since its inception, the Tony Foundation has donated over $700,000 to families in need.
