League of Women Voters PBC to Host Hot Topic Luncheon with Wendy Sartory Link, March 20

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Feb. 24, 2024 - PRLog -- (West Palm Beach, FL – February 23, 2024) The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County (LWVPBC) is inviting friends and supporters to another fascinating Hot Topic Luncheon next month at the Hilton Palm Beach Airport, located at 150 Australian Avenue in West Palm Beach 33406.

Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections

The day after this year's Republican Presidential Preference Primary in Florida along with numerous county and municipal contests, Wendy Sartory Link will discuss the latest voting results and look forward to both the Primary Election on August 20 and the General Election on November 3. The recipient of the League's prestigious Mavericks & Heroes Award in 2023, Link is the current top elections official in the county, overseeing a multimillion-dollar budget, more than 50 employees, thousands of poll workers, and the voting, registration, and electoral process in Palm Beach County and its 39 municipalities. She was appointed Supervisor in 2019 and elected to the job the following year.

Since then, she has implemented a series of positive process changes, made voter registration outreach, education, and training a top priority, and instituted the latest technology and cybersecurity to ensure that every vote is counted fairly and accurately. Prior to serving as Supervisor of Elections, Wendy was the President of a business law firm and worked with organizations on strategic initiatives, crisis management, and leadership development. Wendy was named in The Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law and named one of "The 50 Most Influential Women in Palm Beach and Broward Counties" by Fast Track magazine..
