By: DPI The art show and sale hosts works from two groups of artists, Core and Guest, who produce distinct wares using earthenware, porcelain, and stoneware clay. Core artists are ceramicists who participate each year and include Amy Halko, Liz Lurie, Brooks Oliver, Lisa Orr, and Louise Rosenfield. Guest artists include select talent from across the U.S. who add a unique style to the art represented at the show. This year's guest artists include Juan Barroso, Wesley Brown, Maggie Jaszczak, Josie Jurczenia, Gillain Parke, Austin Riddle, Minsoo Yuh, and Jen Rose. Raffle to Win Original Pottery During the event, an exquisite ceramic vessel, created by Alleghany Meadows from Carbondale Colorado, will be raffled. Attendees can show their social media post of the event to earn a free raffle entry per post. Those wishing not to use social media can purchase raffle tickets for $2 each. Reception and Partner Offers The Dallas Pottery Invitational kicks off with an opening night reception on Friday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. Fine wines and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
