Funny Bus Brings Laughter to the Streets of Atlanta

ATLANTA - March 2, 2024 - PRLog -- The wildly popular Funny Bus Comedy City Tours will be bringing laughter to the streets of Atlanta, GA!  Funny Bus is a unique entertainment experience which offers the perfect blend of comedy and history in a 90-minute bus tour in this bustling heart of the south.

The 38-passenger, open-air tour bus will take guests through several popular neighborhoods in the metro Atlanta area, including the cool hip neighborhoods surrounding the city. More than a standard sightseeing tour, the most unique aspect of Funny Bus will be the hosts who are local comedians dedicated to interacting with and entertaining guests.

The comedians mix humor, music, games, and dancing to provide a high-energy entertainment experience. Guests may bring their own beer and wine in sealed containers and small coolers are allowed.

Funny Bus Comedy City Tours has been a huge success since its origination in 2015 in Charlotte, NC by owners Lisa Schnurr and Kevin Anderson. The concept then launched in Cleveland, OH in 2021 where guests fell in love with the hilarious tours in its second city with just as much success. This spring, it is ready to roll through the streets of Atlanta!

Funny Bus Atlanta will be operated by Summer Rose, a proud Atlanta native. Rose spent her formative years in the vibrant metro area, graduating from Chamblee High School and earning her B.A. in Computer Information Systems at Georgia State University. She honed her customer service skills in the restaurant industry for many years at the Treehouse in Peachtree Hills.

A true people person, Rose thrives on making new connections, and her infectious laughter is a testament to her vibrant personality. She saw a unique opportunity to showcase some of her favorite Atlanta sites with a comedic twist, and the rest is history. Who couldn't love the irresistible mix of comedy, history, laughter, music, beer, wine and pure fun? With unparalleled excitement, Rose is ready to introduce this one-of-a-kind concept to Atlanta.

Rose has comprised a truly fun and hilarious team of local comedians for Funny Bus Atlanta, including Connor Lyons, Peyton Johnson and Nate Rowlands, who plan on bringing not only the history of Atlanta, but plenty of giggles, smiles and belly laughs to all the Funny Bus guests!

"We intend to use the Charlotte model, which started modestly and grew organically to a point where they offer more than 20 weekly tours," said Rose. Funny Bus Atlanta will initially offer five weekly tours, Friday through Sunday, in addition to offering private and team building tours any day of the week. Tickets cost $38 and includes all taxes and fees.
