Discover & Recover Invites the Public to its Grand Opening on March 15th from 3 pm to 5 pm

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - March 5, 2024 - PRLog -- Discover & Recover St. Johns County, a new recovery community organization (RCO) in the Saint Augustine community, is inviting the public to its grand opening and ribbon cutting on March 15th from 3 pm to 5 pm with the official ribbon cutting at 4 pm. They are located at 3105 N Ponce De Leon Blvd, C2, Saint Augustine, FL. Discover & Recover provides education, support, and peer services for individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.

Founded on the principle that recovery from substance use disorder is possible through community support, education, and the sharing of resources, Discover & Recover strives to provide a safe and healing environment for those seeking to discover awareness, support and acceptance with a substance use disorder. The center offers a range of services, including peer recovery support services, community support linkage, and Narcan training and distribution.

Brock Birtolo, Project Lead at Discover & Recover, stated, "At Discover & Recover, we are deeply committed to providing a supportive environment where individuals and families can find the help they need. We want to offer education, support, and peer services to those impacted by substance use disorder, teaching about the recovery community and demonstrating that lives can be saved through what we do, including Narcan training. Substance use disorder affects all walks of life, and our goal is to be a source of hope and recovery for anyone in need."

The grand opening event will feature an overview of the services offered by Discover & Recover, opportunities to meet with staff and learn more about the recovery process, and the chance to engage with others in the community who are on similar journeys.
