Celebrating ARDS Survivor Week 2024

ELGIN, Ill. - March 5, 2024 - PRLog -- ARDS Alliance is honoring the 200,000 Americans who are diagnosed with ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) every year. With a 60% survival rate, many of the survivors face physical, mental and emotional challenges. Up to 50% of ARDS survivors are left not only with physical challenges but mental and emotional challenges.

During ARDS Survivor Week, March 11-17, 2024, ARDS Alliance is partnering with ARDS survivors to honor their experience by sharing their individual stories of survival and bringing awareness to the unseen mental, emotional and physical challenges many survivors face every day.

This special week is a time for us to honor the resilience and courage of ARDS survivors, acknowledging both their struggles and triumphs." said Paula Blonski, President of ARDS Alliance. "We are committed to raising awareness about ARDS and supporting our survivors and their families through their recovery journey. Join us in celebrating their strength and spreading hope."
