ARDS Alliance Announces Family Support Grant in Partnership with Andrew Tod Thompson Foundation

ELGIN, Ill. - Jan. 27, 2025 - PRLog -- The ARDS Alliance/Andrew Tod Thompson Foundation Family Support Grant aims to alleviate some of the financial burdens that can arise from such a significant loss and to offer resources for navigating the challenges of grief.

The grant is named in memory of Andrew Tod Thompson, who tragically passed away from ARDS complications on November 27, 2022, at the age of 23. Andrew was known for his unwavering respect, kindness, and radiant smile. A passionate sports enthusiast, he had aspirations of becoming a realtor and was deeply committed to his family and faith. The Andrew Tod Thompson Foundation was established to continue his legacy and spread awareness of ARDS.

Eligibility and Application Process

The ARDS Alliance Andrew Tod Thompson Foundation Family Support Grant is available to families who have experienced the loss of a loved one due to ARDS in the last 12 months. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and the organization encourages families in need to reach out for support.
