Holtsville, NY (February 28, 2024) – DiCarlo Distributors Inc. has attained GFSI (Global Food Safety Institute) recognized, SQF (Safe Quality Food) Certification, one of the most rigorous food safety and quality certifications in food distribution. DiCarlo Distributors Inc. distributes foodservice products from its facility in Holtsville, NY.

The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program is a comprehensive and credible food safety and quality program that is recognized by retailers, brand owners, and foodservice providers worldwide. The SQF Food Safety Codes are designed to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain – from the farm all the way to retail stores.

Achievement of this certification was the next step in the company's growth and gives customer and suppliers confidence that DiCarlo's storage and distribution meet the highest possible food safety standards.
