PANAJI, India - March 11, 2024 - PRLog -- build3, the impact investment firm based out of Goa, led investments of INR 1.5 crore in 5 startups emerging out of the inaugural cohort of the build3 impact Accelerator. Ranging from idea to pre-pmf stages, the investments were made in Ziti, a gig workforce platform powered by lead generation; Citraverse, an elderly-care platform; 18startup, which empowers college students with entrepreneurial skills; Neokul, an AI-assisted platform for future-first skills and employability; and GoodLives, an AI-enabled mental health wellness platform

Catalysing impact through the cohort model: build3 impact Accelerator is a 12-week long program created to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their impact idea into a startup. 30 founders came together for the inaugural cohort, held at build3's beachside community villa in Goa. Over the course of the program, participants found co-founders, refined their ideas, upskilled in essential startup skills, and accessed funding via a pitching-based event called demo day. The firm aims to create impact for 100K entrepreneurs via its offerings of community, capability and capital.

With its aim to continue creating impact, the firm also recently announced the opening of applications for cohort 2 of the build3 impact Accelerator.

Commenting on the first cohort of the build3 impact Accelerator program, Varun Chawla (https://www.linkedin.com/in/varunchawla1/), founder at build3 and co-founder at 91Springboard, added - "through the build3 impact Accelerator program, we're pushing progress on the UNSDGs. We're thrilled to have the opportunity to support 5 such startups from our first cohort. The program helps turn these impact ideas into functional startups within 12 weeks, and enables them to scale further from there. This creates measurable impact in areas aligned with the UNSDGs, like climate, social equality and wellness, to name a few."

Abhimanyu Rathi (https://www.linkedin.com/in/abhimanyurathi/), co-founder at build3 and the program lead of the build3 impact Accelerator, further said: "By bringing together such like-minded entrepreneurs, we aim to enable creation of impact-led founder teams, pushing high-potential founders across India to create profit with purpose. The program has founder matchmaking, mentorship, structured training over a course of 10 weeks. In the last 2 weeks, participants set off to the races by refining their investment pitches for demo day.
