Democrat Proud William OHanlon Files Petition for Mayor

SEWELL, N.J. - March 26, 2024 - PRLog -- On Thursday, March 21, 2024, democrat proud William OHanlon made his candidacy for Washington Township Mayor official. William submitted his petition for nomination to be a candidate in the upcoming mayoral election with the Washington Township Clerk, Christine Ciallella.

"I'm running for Mayor because I believe that together, we can clean up the Black Horse Pike and the corruption that comes with it," said William OHanlon. "As a lifelong resident and community advocate, I have the experience and vision to move our township forward in a positive direction."

William is a retired CEO for Ryan James & Daniels, Corp, where he has worked to recover millions of dollars for defrauded senior citizens. William has also served the community as a trained hospice volunteer, proud Navy veteran and a 3^rd Degree Night with the Knights of Columbus.

"William OHanlon has been a champion for our community for years," said Greg Desidario, "His leadership, experience, and passion for service make him the best choice to be our next Mayor."

Once elected, William's priorities will include:

• Leveling the empty Denny's which has been vacant for decades transforming the entrance for Whitman Square residents and address the environmental concerns of the vacant gas stations.
• Establishing and spearheading the Michelangelo Project, a project aimed at revitalizing the Black Horse Pike.
• Supporting local businesses and economic development.
• As a sober alcoholic with successful recovery for 8 years now, William feels the need to address the Fentanyl Epidemic.  We need to keep our children safe.

"We have millions of dollars going into projects around the township over the next couple of years," William said. "For decades our mayors have been in office part-time.  Now more than ever we need a full time Mayor to oversee these projects."

The democratic primary election will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
