What does DBE certification actually mean?

The DBE accreditation is a component of a nationwide initiative created to guarantee fair competition for small enterprises. An equalizer for businesses owned and managed by people from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds seeking government funding for transportation projects. Tejjy becomes a member of a distinguished group of companies acknowledged for their workforce's diversity, equity, and inclusivity in the AEC sector by earning this certification.

Opportunities Ahead for Us

With this, we now will be able to take part in the Illinois Unified Qualification Program (IL UCP) as DBEs. The Illinois Department of Transportation, Pace, Metra, the Chicago Transit Authority, and the City of Chicago are among the cooperating entities in the program. This creates additional opportunities for us to apply our knowledge of infrastructure development, public policy advising, and urban planning to larger, more influential projects throughout the state.
