He graduated from Lake Park High School and holds a B.A. degree in pre-law and business from DePaul University in Chicago. Giampa studied master's degree level coursework in municipal finance from the University of Chicago in Chicago. Giampa has more than 25 years in the real estate and construction industry with vast professional experience throughout Chicagoland. He is a licensed real estate broker and a member of the National Association of REALTORS®. Giampa is an award-winning real estate professional in residential sales volume and marketing. He has led real estate teams that invest, build, and sell new and adaptive-use properties. Giampa owned businesses in Chicagoland and served as a civic leader in volunteerism for area non-profit organizations in historic preservation and children's medical care. He has lived on Chicago's North Shore, in Highland Park for more than 20 years. Giampa and his wife have two rescue dogs, and they are active in restoring antique vehicles, along with travels in the family's recreational vehicle. Giampa is certified from The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) as a Water Restoration Technician (WRT), and in Applied Structural Drying (ASD) along with fire, smoke, and odor damage restoration. He is also a certified lead paint and mold remediation technician. Ownership of Paul Davis of Southeast and Fox Valley was established in 2013 by tenured Paul Davis employees Brady Chuckel, Jeff Hertel, and Tim Guilette.
