BLK Family Reunion Festival Gears Up for Its Biggest Year Yet

ST. LOUIS - May 7, 2024 - PRLog -- The BLK Family Reunion Festival is excited to announce its 2nd Annual festival and community event, set for June 19th at Harris-Stowe State University (on the streets of Compton) from 11-7pm.

With an expected attendance of more than 15,000, the BLK Family Reunion Festival is poised to become a prominent cultural event in the Midwest, drawing residents from Kansas City, Chicago, Memphis, and neighboring cities.

Join us for a special evening celebrating Black culture and community. Live performances will feature Dirty Muggs, Midwest DJs, a tribute to Kool & The Gang by Terry Colman, Smokin Lions with a tribute to Bob Marley and Grammy-winning artist Murphy Lee Live with a band.

Guests can indulge in tasty bites from over 10 food trucks and engage with 40 local vendors and organizations.

Families will find something for everyone to enjoy! Thanks to generous sponsorship from St. Louis University, Believe Circle City High School, St. Louis Voices Academy of Media Arts, Momentum Academy, ACTIVATE STL, and Gamer's Island, the kid zone area will be packed with excitement, ensuring an unforgettable experience for the little ones.

The festival is free and open to the public. In partnership with Wells Fargo, Ameren UE, and Uncle Nearest, BLK Family Reunion, LLC will contribute proceeds raised from sponsors to their scholarship fund, benefiting Harris-Stowe State University.
