Follow on Google News | ![]() Echoes of Dunkirk: Gaza's "Floating Bridge" Could Serve as a Possible Evacuation RouteGaza new floating bridge, anchored to a temporary pier on Gaza's beach, could become a crucial evacuation route for refugees trapped in the war zone.
By: Pirate Preacher Refugees could proceed from the beach to the pier, and then across the 1,800-foot bridge where they would board small boats or pontoons. These vessels would transport evacuees to larger ships anchored offshore. The process would prioritize the most vulnerable, including the injured, elderly, and children. Once aboard, medical personnel would provide immediate care. Those needing more extensive treatment could be transferred to hospital ships or flown to nearby countries with advanced medical facilities. Security for the land-based operation would be maintained by Israeli forces on the shore and U.S. Navy warships offshore. These forces would ensure safe passage for refugees and protect against potential threats. Such an evacuation plan would require international cooperation. Two U.S. Navy warships, the USS Arleigh Burke and the USS Paul Ignatius, are stationed in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Israeli military spokesman Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani confirmed that Israeli engineering units flattened the beach near the pier and paved or packed roads for trucks. "We have been working for months on this project," Shoshani said. "It's a top priority in our operation." Pray that leaders in Israel, the U.S., and the U.N. will use this lifeline to move those trapped in Gaza to safety. Let us call on the Lord with His words. "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love the Lord be secure." Psalm 122:6 Please sign our petition to urge international leaders to use the new floating bridge to safely evacuate refugees trapped in Gaza. https://chng.it/ Learn how you can receive peace, encouragement, and help from the Lord at: http://pirate- End
