Mosquito Joe of Braintree-Weymouth Volunteers at Hull Lifesaving Museum

HULL, Mass. - May 21, 2024 - PRLog -- Mosquito Joe of Braintree-Weymouth (https://braintree-weymouth.mosquitojoe.com/), an experienced outdoor pest control company, is celebrating its sixth anniversary, usually focuses its efforts on pest control and keeping outdoor environments safe, especially at this time of year. Recently, though, the crew took a little time away from the office to help support a local community treasure.

The Mosquito Joe of Braintree-Weymouth crew volunteered some time to paint the third floor Children's Loft at the Hull Lifesaving Museum (https://www.hulllifesavingmuseum.org/), a local history museum in Hull which is located in the original 1889 Lifesaving Station with views of Boston's outer harbor and islands; Boston Light. The museum showcases the history of the lifesavers who risked their lives to save fellow mariners in peril along the rocky coast.  Children's summer programs focus on marine life, boat safety, and community building. The museum provides crucial lessons from the town's maritime heritage and also celebrates the lifesaving spirit of skills, courage and caring. The museum's year-round education and recreation programs serves a diverse constituency, 75% of whom are underserved youth from metropolitan Boston.

The Mosquito Joe of Braintree-Weymouth crew includes a few Hull residents, including founder and owner Jodi Elliott. She and fellow team members Zach Jones, Hudson Sesito, Cristian Amador, Anthony Amador and Jess Whitcomb, all pitched in to paint the third floor loft.

"As we are all Hull residents, we all have an affinity for the Museum," said Jodi Elliott. She continued, "Maureen Gillis who runs the museum is also a long time Hull resident and does a great job including the community and enlisting help and support.  The museum provides an exceptional educational and informational experience for its patrons. We are happy to have had the chance to lend a few hands."
