Quicker Response Quicker Funding Claims SBA Through The Office Of Disaster Assistance

FORT MYERS, Fla. - May 30, 2024 - PRLog -- The Small Business Administration through its Office of Disaster Assistance has released a new portal system operational as of Jan 1, 2024, that the agency claims is faster, more transparent, and easier to use. In its best operational form, the system is geared to transfer funds into the borrower's account within sixteen days of applying according to an SBA insider working at the processing and disbursement center in Fort Worth, TX.
Although this lofty goal is far from being reached, the processing and disbursement center staff are striving to bring the new system to meet the challenge. If the borrower or multi borrower if the business has more than one owner will follow the prompts and complete the sections as requested the application can be in the underwriting review within seven days, explains the employee at the PDC in charge of quality control. Just follow the instructions to upload the requested information the agency states and after loan officer approval the file is sent to the closing department for document preparation and funding.
