Grand Opening of Tulsa Responds' New Location Marks Major Achievement

TULSA, Okla. - June 3, 2024 - PRLog -- The Tulsa Responds (TR) team was all smiles as they celebrated the grand opening of their new storefront location at 2174 S Sheridan Rd, Tulsa, OK, 74129, with an exclusive ribbon-cutting ceremony. The festivities, which took place on Friday, May 31, 2024, marked a significant milestone for the organization.

The Tulsa Responds team felt it was important to share this moment with key community partners who support their mission of connecting the Tulsa community to essential public benefit programs. Primary partners, including the George Kaiser Family Foundation, the City of Tulsa's Office of Financial Empowerment and Community Wealth, and Birth through Eight Strategy for Tulsa (BEST), joined the Tulsa Responds team to celebrate this achievement. Through this collective of foundational partnerships, Tulsa Responds continues to make a significant impact, reaching more and more Tulsans. This impact is substantial among households with young children through programs offering early childhood education, health, and social services, supported by their BEST partnership.

"For four years, our community partners have generously shared their space, enabling our navigators to assist their clients," said Marcela Swenson, Executive Director at Tulsa Responds. "Having our own space at 21st and Sheridan, where we can offer our services five days a week, is a huge milestone for our organization. We were honored to welcome our partners into our new space."

The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the organization's growth and success, raising the timeliness and effectiveness of the new space. The new move brings new growth opportunities. In addition to their current services, Tulsa Responds will soon offer free financial empowerment counseling in partnership with the City of Tulsa's Office of Financial Empowerment.
