Disseminating Information For Counting Nevada's Votes

RENO, Nev. - June 5, 2024 - PRLog -- An article on WFTV, written by Gabe Stern on May 23, 2024, reported that Democratic Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar announced that "Nevada election officials can start tabulating in-person Election Day votes as they come in, rather than waiting for polls to close in an effort to get results out quicker."

A coalition of organizations representing the people of Nevada responded to the Secretary of State's office in protest of this clear violation of Nevada Statute 293.363.  This statute was written to ensure that Election Day in-person votes would not be counted until after the polls close.

Yesterday, the Secretary of State's office replied to the people in an email that contains the statement "As required by NRS 293.363, no in-person votes from election day will be tabulated until after polls close and after the last voter has voted."

We the People will hold the Secretary of State accountable for enforcing this law.

That said, another point must be addressed.  In the many communications with the Secretary of State's office regarding this particular law, that office continuously attempted to confuse and befuddle by interjecting the topics of early voting, mail ballots, and the release of results, without giving an answer regarding the actual issue at hand…the issue of properly counting Election Day in-person votes and the statement the Secretary of State made about tabulating in-person Election Day Votes.

We call upon the Secretary of State's office to recognize that the people are knowledgeable about our elections…attempts to gaslight don't work.
