Messi No-Show at Vancouver Whitecaps Game Class Action

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - June 6, 2024 - PRLog -- A proposed class action was filed in the Supreme Court of British Columbia alleging that the Vancouver Whitecaps and the Major League Soccer priced the tickets for the May 25, 2024 Vancouver Whitecaps v. Inter Miami game at a premium and also mislead soccer fans on whether Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Sergio Busquets would be playing at that game.

The proposed class members are those that hold a ticket to the May 25, 2024 Vancouver Whitecaps v. Inter Miami game. The proposed class action seeks: (a) a partial refund for those that attended the game; (b) a full refund for those that did not attend the game; and (c) a court-ordered process for class members to claim additional losses and out-of-pocket expenses for fans that incurred travel costs.

The class action also seeks punitive damages, costs and legal fees.

Fans are encouraged to keep all receipts.
