Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to participate in monthly Town Hall Meetings led by community partners, culminating in a career day workshop on September 3, 2024 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX, where they can explore various career paths and gain insights into the professional sporting world. Established in 2014, ETHOS VILLAGE offers a curriculum based and customizable character development program designed to improve the educational experience by redefining success through a firm understanding of identity and self-value to build a foundation for good thoughts, good decisions, and big dreams. Over 20,000 students in Frisco and Dallas ISDs will have a chance to benefit from the year-round classroom and virtual curriculum which leverages the social worth of celebrity athletes and entertainers as a means to connect with impressionable youth. Selected schools within these districts will have the opportunity to participate in weekly character and self-development workshops facilitated by Ethos Leaders and enhanced by virtual sessions with Ethos Champions, such as Marcus Semien, Mike Singletary, Tim Brown and Everson Walls. Since December 2020, Marcus Semien and his father, Damien Semien, have actively engaged with parents and student-athletes by participating in monthly Town Hall Meetings and educational modules hosted on the ETHOS VILLAGE digital platform. Topics covered will include the following: Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, NIL Management, Marketing, Relationships and Mental Wellness.
