We're thrilled to announce that 1965 Group has acquired the World Pickleball Tour (WPT), marking a significant step forward in advancing the sport's accessibility and player experience globally.

Since 2021, 1965 Group has been dedicated to expanding tournament access and enhancing player experiences through the Amateur Pickleball Association (APA). With nearly 100 tournaments annually and participants from over 40 states and Canada, APA has set a new standard in the pickleball community. Pickleball tournaments that focus on the player experience and growth of the game through commutable events in major markets.

Joining forces aligns perfectly with our mission to cultivate growth and enrich the pickleball experience. Together, APA and WPT will innovate and elevate the sport for amateur players worldwide.
