Bajaj Auto and L&T Finance to Report Q1 Results

BANGALORE, India - July 17, 2024 - PRLog -- Global Stock Markets: Dow 30, +0.5%; S&P500, +0.3%; NASDAQ, +0.4%; Kospi, +0.1%; Shanghai, -0.2%.

Yesterday, Nifty started on a positive note. However, the index pared most of its gains and marked the day's low within the first 30 minutes. Later, the index reversed and edged higher to scale an all-time high (24,635). Broader markets outperformed for the day. Barring Nifty IT (-0.29%), all other sectoral indices closed higher. The top gainers were Nifty PSU Bank (+3.07%) and Media (+1.53%).

Results Today: Bajaj Auto, L&T Finance Ltd, Crisil, and Himadri Speciality Chemical, among others, will report earnings.

Vedanta opens QIP at Rs 461.26 per share.

Jio Financial Services Ltd's Q1 FY25 revenue was down 0.1% y/y to Rs 417 crore. PAT increased 0.6% y/y to Rs 312 crore.
