VERO BEACH, Fla. - July 18, 2024 - PRLog -- I really enjoyed bringing this character Cheetah, to life. It's a simple imaginary story with tremendous meaning. I love showing children that "make believe" is okay. I think it encourages a child's creativity in many ways.

I've been writing for 20 years, with 19 books published. Almost all are children's books. A new category is Young Adult books, which have been a true challenge.

I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Scott, and we have one talented son, Ryan. Both support me tremendously.

Living in two completely different parts of the world—Lake of The Ozarks, Missouri and Nueva, Mexico—really nourishes my imagination. I love the wildlife in both places and write about "the little critters" from each place.

I feel very blessed and always eager to see what is next.

About the Illustrator:

Daisy Summer Decker is currently working as an illustrator and local artist. She started her own art gallery, Ozark Art Co., at the end of 2022, where she gives art classes. One of her biggest achievements was winning first place in an art show, at Lake Fine Art and Galleria, located in Lake Ozark, Mo. She has many dreams, but one of them is to go sightseeing in Paris. Daisy is the youngest of four children (one older sister and two brothers). She lives with her parents and one brother, three cats, and her service dog, Diesel, in Versailles, Missouri.
