Recombinant Alpha-fucosidase (AlfC) is an enzyme produced through recombinant DNA technology that catalyzes the hydrolysis of fucose-containing glycosidic bonds. It is produced by inserting the gene into an expression system for large-scale production. AlfC is used in biochemical research to study fucosylated glycoconjugates and in biotechnology for modifying glycoproteins and other glycoconjugates. This product has been used as a molecular tool for various biochemical applications. It has also been used in a wide array of other chemical and immunological applications.
