Dr. Marlo Nicole Richardson Receives Proclamation from Mayor Butts and Inglewood City Council

Dr. Richardson has achieved remarkable success as a Black businesswoman and serial entrepreneur. She recently received the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and holds two doctoral degrees, including one in Business and Entrepreneurship.

Reflecting on her journey from Inglewood, Dr. Richardson has remained steadfast in her pursuit of excellence. She is committed to empowering youth to become wealth creators and entrepreneurs, contributing to a society where every generation thrives with purpose and possibility.

Starting her career as a dedicated law enforcement officer and rising to the rank of police lieutenant, Dr. Richardson has also excelled in real estate since the age of 21. She became the first Black woman to chair the CA State Licensing Board, a prestigious position appointed by California Governor Jerry Brown. Her entrepreneurial ventures include lounges and entertainment venues like Berris and Stage 21. Her latest business endeavors include "California Vintage Wine Bistro," "Braymar Wines," and a forthcoming partnership with Big League Hospitality Group at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood.

In the business sector, Dr. Richardson has pioneered diversity and innovation through brands like Greenwood & Company and Just Mary Brand & Delivery. She has made significant contributions to media production with Marlo Nicole Productions, offering top-tier services for podcasts and executive producing television and film projects. Dr. Richardson exemplifies her commitment to education and youth empowerment through her latest ventures, Business Bullish, and her nonprofit Generational Wealth Builders Worldwide, which aims to inspire, train, and provide real-life experiences and opportunities to future entrepreneurs.
