Symphony San Jose Board of Directors Elects Nancy Johnson Chair

SAN JOSE, Calif. - July 26, 2024 - PRLog -- Symphony San Jose is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Johnson as the new Chair of the Board of Directors. Additionally, we welcome James Williams and Vince Sunzeri as new members of the Symphony's Board of Directors. Nancy Johnson – Chair of the Board of Directors: Nancy Johnson brings a wealth of experience in legal and professional services to her new role as Chair of the Board. She is a distinguished partner at Berliner Cohen, where she has practiced since 1983. Nancy's expertise in business law will be invaluable in guiding Symphony San Jose through its next chapter. Her leadership and strategic vision have earned her numerous accolades and the respect of her peers.

James Williams – Treasurer of the Board of Directors: James Williams joins Symphony San Jose with extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of Finance & Administration at Opera San Jose, where he was responsible for all business matters including finance, human resources, legal, and facilities. Previously, James served as Board President and Chief Financial Officer for San Jose Jazz. For many years, James held senior finance roles in the Tech sector with companies including Nokia, Juniper Networks and Sun Microsystems (Oracle). His broad experience in financial operations, strategic thinking, and risk management will greatly benefit Symphony San Jose.

Vince Sunzeri – Board Member: Vince Sunzeri is a highly accomplished financial advisor and community leader. Vince has over three decades of experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Investments at Morgan Stanley. His dedication to professional excellence and community service, evidenced by his numerous roles on various boards and recognitions, including being named to Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors in 2022, 2023, and 2024, will bring valuable insights to Symphony San Jose.
