Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company of MA - Lafayette Bicentennial Parade

BOSTON - July 29, 2024 - PRLog -- On August 24, 2024, we will honor Lafayette's legacy with a commemorative event: A muster and a parade from the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company Armory to Boston Common, wreath-laying ceremonies, and a review of the troops by General Lafayette. Parade participants will form on Boston Common, where Lafayette and dignitaries will address the crowd and receive a cannon salute. Join us as we pay tribute to Lafayette's return and celebrate the enduring spirit of freedom and friendship. Order of event:

0800 – USS Constitution Lafayette & Dignitaries
0930-1030 – Parade Units form at Faneuil Hall.
1100 – Parade Steps off.
1120 – Old Granary Burial Wreath Laying.
1140 – Lafayette Mall Wreath Laying.
1150 – Pass & Review
1200 – Ceremony begins with General Lafayette receiving a cannon salute.
