LOS ANGELES - July 30, 2024 - PRLog -- Los Angeles's top-rated non-profit performing arts program White Hall Arts Academy (WHAA) in collaboration with Crete Academy successfully concluded their immersive Music Creators Camp, an inspiring week-long event designed to nurture the talents of young musicians aged 9-19. Held from July 22 to July 26, 2024, the camp featured a lineup of distinguished mentors from the music industry, including Grammy Award-winning recording artist Estelle, and Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and producer Ant Clemons, who made special guest appearances to guide underserved youth.

The camp was hosted virtually by Keith Harris, Musical Director and Producer for The Black Eyed Peas, also a WHAA board member. Other notable mentors included five-time Grammy-winning writer Candace Wakefield, legendary DJ Kaila Troy, KJLH Radio Host Ricky Ruckus, Grammy-nominated Songwriter Bella Rabbit and music producer Marcus Bell. The camp's final day showcased the participants' incredible growth and talent with special performances, a Q&A session with Ant Clemons and closing remarks acknowledging their hard work and achievements.

Throughout the week, young musicians had the opportunity to develop new musical skills, build confidence, and foster leadership qualities under the guidance of these accomplished mentors. The Music Creators Camp finale at Tiny Room Studios in Inglewood, CA provided an enriching environment for budding artists to learn and grow. The initiative emphasized the importance of arts education and its role in empowering youth, especially those from underserved communities. The camp's success was made possible through the generous support of sponsors and partners, including LA County 2nd District Supervisor's Office (Holly Mitchell), BandLab, and the Apple Store at The Grove.

Tanisha Hall, Founder and Executive Director of White Hall Arts Academy, expressed her pride in the event's success, stating, "We are thrilled to have provided these young artists with a platform to explore their creativity and learn from some of the best in the industry. The skills and confidence they have gained this week are invaluable, and we can't wait to see where their musical journeys take them."

Leading virtually while on an international tour with Black Eyed Peas, Music Creators Camp Host Keith Harris reflected on the camp's impact, saying, "Witnessing the passion and creativity of these young musicians has been incredibly inspiring. Their dedication and hard work throughout the week has been remarkable, and I have no doubt they will continue to achieve great things in their musical journeys."
